You probably know Sony Michel best for his explosive runs and many touchdowns while at the University of Georgia, but it is unlikely you’ve heard his name in the rap game. That is until now.
The former Rose Bowl and Super Bowl champ has just announced his next rap EP will be dropping this Friday, and it’s already starting to catch some buzz.
The title of the EP is “No Facade”, and will feature five songs.

The New England Patriots running back has decided on his rap name: FlyGuyTeam. He released his first SoundCloud EP in 2017 titled: “The Humble Hustle”, and made a number of singles since then. Michel is ready for his name to be known both on the field and on the mic.
It sounds like Sony is enjoying the NFL offseason, and could have another career after football.
