On the sideline of Oakland Raiders training camp, a pair of apparent protégées were perfecting their craft.
Antonio Brown’s son ran routes for Derek Carr’s son. They were as adorable as they were impressive. First of all, Brown’s kid had a hilarious approach to cone drills, clearly trying to copy his dad but also clearly misunderstanding how these drills worked. After AB’s kid juked out the cones — as well as the human decoy in the middle, who unpredictably tosses a cone in the midst of the play — Carr’s son would hit Brown’s kid with a pass, and, somehow, Brown’s kid would haul in the target. It’s an impressive display of budding athleticism for both youngsters.
