Bantamweight Song Yadong made short work of Alejandro Perez during the ESPN prelims at UFC 239 from Las Vegas’ T-Mobile Arena.
The two had barely gotten going when Yadong (15-4 MMA, 4-0 UFC) timed a right hand that sent Perez (21-8-1 MMA, 7-3-1 UFC) crashing to the canvas at the 2:04 mark of the opening round. Yadong not only landed a right but also made contact with Perez’s jaw with his left as he ducked forward. Another punch on the canvas was academic.

Team Alpha Male protege Yadong is now 4-0 in the octagon with a three stoppage wins.
