Song Sir Paul McCartney sang at Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding revealed

Sir Paul McCartney sang at Taylor Swift's wedding

Sir Paul McCartney sang I Wanna Hold Your Hand at Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding.

The couple tied the knot in front of 1,000 guests at New York's Madison Square Garden on Friday (03.07.26), and during the festivities - which lasted until 4am - the Beatles legend got on stage to entertain guests, performing his former group's 1963 chart-topping track.

A source told People magazine: “After the ceremony, Taylor’s mom Andrea invited everyone into the reception room where the stage was set up."

The insider confirmed that Fleetwood Mac's Stevie Nicks also performed at the reception, but didn't give any further details.

Good Morning America hosts Robin Roberts, Michael Strahan, and George Stephanopoulos were guests at the wedding and had confirmed on their show on Saturday (04.07.26) that the Edge of Seventeen hitmaker had sang.

Robin said: "We can confirm that, yes, Stevie Nicks did perform."

Taylor recently praised Paul as an "eternally exceptional artist" who she was "never not inspired by" when she reshared an Instagram post from the star about his new album The Boys of Dungeon Lane.

And earlier this year, the 85-year-old musician said he'd be happy to give Taylor advice on navigating her global megastardom because he considers himself a "grandad" to her generation of pop stars.

Asked if he had advice for her on navigating fame, Paul told BBC Sounds: "You do see the parallel, you know the fame and the amount of fame.

"The worldwide fame that Taylor Swift has and that we had, but I don't think she needs any advice to tell you the truth...

“I'm like the older brother to that generation, or more like the grandad, actually."

The Hey Jude singer had met Taylor, as well as the likes of Billie Eilish, Olivia Rodrigo and Sabrina Carpenter, at parties hosted by his wife Nancy Shevell and daughter Stella McCartney.

He said: "They're really cool people, they're very good.

"I like their voices. If they need any advice, yeah, I would be happy to give it, but I don't think they do."

Guests at Taylor and Travis' wedding included Ed Sheeran and wife Cherry, Gigi Hadid and Bradley Cooper, Karlie Kloss and Joshua Kushner, Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco, Maren Morris, Kelsea Ballerini, Camila Cabello, and Fergie.
