Sonar Sansar to celebrate sisterhood on stage; Shimul along with her girlfriends join hands for a grand performance

Bengali television artists are all set to celebrate their craft on the stage of Sonar Sansar Awards. To make the celebration even grander, five actresses have teamed up for one performance. Manali Dey aka Shimul from ‘Kar Kache Koi Moner Katha’ has put on her dancing shoes for the special performance with Basabdatta Chatterjee, Sneha Chatterjee, Srijani Mitra, and Sritama Bhattacharjee. The actresses have shared a glimpse of their performance recently on Instagram.

Manali is currently seen essaying the role of Shimul in a popular television show called ‘Kar Kache Koi Moner Katha’. Basabdatta, Sneha, Srijani, and Sritama have been sharing the screen with Manali on the same show. K3MK, a one-of-a-kind Bengali television soap started its journey last year. Within a year of existence, K3MK has made its mark with the content of the show that focuses on sisterhood as well as familial relationships. The viewers’ feedback has impacted the TRP charts for many weeks. A chunk of modern female audience is especially appreciative of the show since it shows sisterhood on screen; a subject that is overlooked in most daily soaps. This sisterhood factor has increased the relatability quotient of K3MK. Manali, Basabdatta, Sneha, Srijani, and Sritama are excited to showcase their bonding off the screen through a dance performance on stage. The actresses have been sharing snippets of their look and performance online.

Kar Kache Koi Moner Katha has an interesting storyline that follows the journey of a newlywed girl (Shimul) who struggles to find her place to belong to her in-law's family. She instead makes unique friendships with her neighbors and by extension – finds solace in sisterhood.
