Bollywood actor Sonam Kapoor and husband Anand Ahuja have announced their first pregnancy on Instagram in a heartwarming note.
"Four hands. To raise you the very best we can. Two hearts. That will beat in unison with yours, every step of the way. One family. Who will shower you with love and support. We can’t wait to welcome you. #everydayphenomenal #comingthisfall2022," reads the Instagram post by Sonam Kapoor.
A source close to the Kapoor family, told Entertainment Times, "In fact, she is four months pregnant. So, she will deliver mostly in August 2022. She wasn't seen around much in recent times and this was precisely the reason. A lot of friends and relatives had got the whiff of it but she did not confirm with most of them, until today."
As per Sonam's Instagram post, the baby is expected during the fall.
As soon as the pregnancy news came to fore, fans, followers and friends have showered their love on the couple.
Congratulating the couple, actor Jacqueline Fernandez has said, "Congrats sonesss and Anand!!!!"
Singer Shreya Ghoshal who has recently embraced motherhood has showered her love. "Congratulations! What a wonderful news!," she has written.
Among others who have congratulated Sonam and Anand on their new journey are Ranveer Singh, Parvathy, Anshula Kapoor, Mickey Contractor, Vaani Kapoor and others.
The would-be grandmother Sunita Kapoor has also showered her blessing on the couple.
The eldest daughter of actor Anil Kapoor and Sunita Kapoor, Sonam, married Anand Ahuja in 2018 after dating for almost 3 years.
On the work front, Sonam was last seen in 2019 in the Zoya Factor alongside Dulquer Salmaan. She also had a cameo appearance in 2020 in Anil Kapoor and Anurag Kashyap's AK vs AK which was released on Netflix. She will be next seen in Blind, a Bollywood remake of a Korean action thriller, directed by Shome Makhija. The movie is about a woman who loses her eyesight after a car accident, and uses her other senses, teams up with the police in an investigation.
