A grieving son has paid a heartbreaking tribute to his mum and dad after they were found dead at home.
The bodies of Stephen Mclachlan, 37, and Lisa Gilchrist, 38, were found at their flat in Paisley, in the west central Lowlands of Scotland, with police treating the deaths as "unexplained".
Investigators remain at the scene in Espedair Street, where a cordon is still in place, following the grim discovery on Monday just before 7pm, reports the Daily Record.
The couple's son Stephen shared a photo on Facebook yesterday, writing: “Rip mum and dad. Can’t believe this still not sunk in yet. I love yous both so much more than yous will ever know."
“Love yous both forever,” he added.

“So sorry for your poor boy. My heart is breaking.”
Police Scotland have confirmed they were called to the property on Monday and that a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
A force spokesperson said: “Officers were called to a property on Espedair Street in Paisley at 6.55pm on January 10 following the deaths of a 38-year-old woman and a 37-year-old man.
“The deaths are currently being treated as unexplained and enquiries are ongoing.
“A report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal in due course.”
