The similarities between little Lio Gerrard and his dad Steven are clear, but after a haircut the resemblance is remarkable.
Little Lio had his haircut at The Dukes Barbers in Formby this week and looked incredibly grown up in the photos his dad shared.
Steven shared a photo of Lio, two, sitting in the barbershop chair wearing a Stella McCartney jumper and with his blonde hair styled just like his father.
He then shared a snap of Lio enjoying a lollipop after his haircut.
Steven, who has had the same haircut throughout his career, shared the post to Instagram and captioned it: "Lollipop got the job done."
And it wasn't long before his followers started to comment on how much Lio looked like his dad.

It's not the first time the pair have looked similar as on New Year Lio and Steven wore the same outfit, as they both wore blue shirts and black trousers.
Sharing pictures of his evening, Steven first posed with his daughters Lilly-Ella and Lexie before adding an adorable snap with two-year-old Lio.
The Liverpool legend looked dapper in a blue shirt and black trousers, but little Lio stole the show with his matching outfit.
His son wore a similar blue shirt with black shorts and cute blue trainers.
