Son Heung-min opens up about Harry Kane situation as Moussa Sissoko is linked to Tottenham exit

Here is your Tottenham Hotspur digest on Wednesday, August 11.

Son Heung-min opens up on the mood inside Tottenham amid Harry Kane's uncertain future

Harry Kane's future still remains up in the air amid strong rumoured Manchester City interest.

His Spurs team-mate Son Heung-min has been talking about the mood in the Tottenham camp ahead of the season opener, amid the ongoing Kane speculation.

"Everybody should be ready for every game, that is so important," Son said.

"There is a chance every game, we know how important that is. If you're not focused, if you're not ready, then every game we are going to struggle.

"That is why, in the pre-season, we are working really hard to try and make it as easy as possible for the coming season.

"We want to focus game by game to try and win the games and we will see when we arrive what we can achieve."

Moussa Sissoko linked to exit

Fabrizio Romano has claimed that Tottenham midfielder Moussa Sissoko is the subject of interest from Italian clubs as well as sides elsewhere, amid suggestions he has been told to find a new team.

However, it is believed the Frenchman's expected departure has not gone down well with his fellow countryman Tanguy Ndombele, who is said to be considering his future with the club.

Speaking on his Here We Go podcast about where Sissoko's future may lie, Romano had the following to say on the possibility of him departing the north London club this summer.

"Sissoko from Tottenham has [a] few chances to leave the club. He is one of the players considered on the market," Romano said.

"Keep an eye on Italian clubs for him, but not only Italian clubs, because he’s considered on the market for Tottenham and also from other countries. Other leagues are coming interested for him."

Barcelona star lined up as potential Harry Kane replacement

Tottenham Hotspur are apparently eyeing a move for Barcelona forward Martin Braithwaite should Harry Kane leave the club this summer.

Names such as Inter Milan’s Lautaro Martinez and Dusan Vlahovic have been mentioned, with Fabio Paratici having made progress on a deal for the former with the agreement of a fee with the Serie A champions.

Now, a new name appears to be on the club’s shortlist in the form of Barcelona’s Martin Braithwaite.

According to Spanish outlet Sport, the Danish forward is being allowed to depart the Camp Nou this summer and he is being considered by Spurs.

Premier League rivals West Ham United are also said to be interested in the striker, but he has requested more time to decide on his future, with a move to north London being preferential for Braithwaite.
