Son desperate to bring mum home after she vanishes from Elgin home

A son is desperate to bring his mum home after she vanished in Elgin during lockdown.

Valerie Anne Spark went missing after leaving her home during lockdown yesterday morning.

The 46-year-old got in her black Vauxhall Astra and left her home but hasn't been in contact with her worried family since.

Now her son Cameron Spark has made a social media plea for information.

He said: "My Mum has gone missing, Valerie Anne Spark.

"She was last seen today at 10.15am leaving our house in Elgin in the car, black Vauxhall Astra - number plate VK66 JXN and hasn’t been seen since and we have been unable to get in contact with her."

Detectives are frantically searching for Valerie who has short brown hair, is 5’7” tall and has blue/green eyes.

She was wearing a light blue top and dark denim jeans.

A spokes person for Police Scotland said: "Police in Elgin are appealing for information to help trace a woman reported missing from Bishopmill.

"Valerie Spark, 46, was last seen leaving her home address in the Hamilton Drive area around 10.15am on Wednesday, 8 April, 2020 and has not been seen or heard of since.

"There is growing concern for her welfare."
