Someone set the world record with 31 straight NBA 3s in a minute

Believe it or not: The Guinness world record for the most consecutive NBA 3-pointers in one minute isn’t owned by an NBA player — not Steph Curry, not Klay Thompson, definitely not Dwight Howard.

Anthony Miracola, a former high school basketball player from Michigan, is the owner of that record after he made 31 straight NBA 3s in less than a minute this week. The previous record was 26.

Miracola is a small-ball national champion (similar to pop-a-shot), and he transferred that technique into his NBA 3s. You wouldn’t teach this form for game situations, but for the purposes of the record, it was money for Miracola.

There’s hope for Lonzo Ball, after all.

Here’s another angle:

I can’t hate on the ugliness of that jumper. How can I? It clearly works. The shot doesn’t have to be pretty if it goes in.
