You can see where Donald Trump’s cronies get their hilarious confidence. After his “unofficial” advisor declared the new Pope unfit and angled for his immediate firing, Trump issued yet another threat, mad at yet another refusal to bow down to his authoritarianism. The only problem is that this “country” he is so hell bent on teaching a lesson does not exist.
Renowned for mixing up facts and aiming blindly in the dark, the POTUS is currently losing his cool over Mattel, the famous toy manufacturing brand, which manufactures about 20% of its U.S.-sold products in China – something it is working to reduce to less than 10% by 2027. However, in lieu of the increased tariffs in America, the company’s plan is to shift this production unit to countries like India in order to keep at least 40–50% of its products priced at $20 or less.
You get zero points for guessing who it pisses off the most.
In response, Trump threatened to impose a 100% tariff on Mattel, which he thinks is a country, and ensure that its CEO, Ynon Kreiz, “won’t sell one toy in the United States,” which is its largest market.

While I have absolute belief in Trump’s drive for vengeance the second he feels slighted, he might want to get his facts straight before he begins his attack.

Well, this is a man who “doesn’t know” whether he should uphold the Constitution or not, made wildly false claims about 9/11, can’t seem to zero on what his height is, saw “hundreds of thousands” attending his speeches while the stands were visibly empty – he claimed in 2024 that the crowd at his January 6th rally was larger than the audience for Martin Luther King Jr.’s “I Have a Dream” speech – and oh, said he would end the Russia’s invasion of Ukraine in a day. Of course, he has to pick up imaginary fights because doing something real and useful was never on his list.
