Someone loaded Halo’s needler weapon with hot dogs

Halo  hype is  damn near palpable these days. It’s as if we all stuffed some Mountain Dew and Doritos into a backpack and joyously skipped our way over to a friend’s place for a LAN party like it’s 2004.

One fan chose to celebrate  the franchise’s grand return  by stuffing hot dogs into the needler, Halo’s  heavily meme-worthy projectile weapon.

Over on Halo’s  subreddit, user ChrisDAnimation created a somewhat disturbing animation featuring the needler firing off tube steaks onto a grill as if it’s the 4th of July. They even got Jeff Steitzer, the announcer for Halo’s  multiplayer, to spout off lines like “Double Grill” and “Grilltacular” while firing the weapon.

Take a look at the hot dog-loaded needler for yourself in the video below. Remember, though, that some images will haunt you until well into old age.

I loaded my needler with hot dogs so that you don’t have to from halo

Snark aside, this is a pretty hilarious tribute on  ChrisDAnimation’s  part. They got the idea for it from a semi-viral tweet that was making the round last week.

Despite the odds, Halo’s  biggest meme this week wasn’t  someone downing 23 opponents with one sniper bullet. Go figure!

More stuff like this is likely to pop up as we get closer to Halo Infinite’s  campaign launch date on Dec. 8. If you’re playing its multiplayer mode and want a hand getting good, check out our guides  on the medals  and  how the weapon offset settings work
