Someone in Manchester STILL hasn't claimed their £1m Lotto winnings - and they're running out of time

One very lucky person in Manchester bought a £1m lottery ticket - but they STILL haven't claimed their winnings more than three months on.

National Lottery has been desperately searching for the winner since January.

Now it's a race against the clock as the ticket needs cashing in before July 8.

On Wednesday January 9, the fortunate punter matched five main numbers and the bonus ball in the Lotto draw.

The ticket was bought in the Manchester area, so it could be yours.

The winning Lotto numbers were 3, 17, 36, 42, 51, 57 and the bonus ball was 18.

Lottery chiefs are urging players to check their wallets and behind the back of the sofa in case they have the winning ticket.

If nobody comes forward with the winning ticket over the next two months, the money - plus any interest it has generated - will be put towards helping National Lottery funded projects across the UK.

There are currently eight unclaimed winning tickets in the UK that are all worth £1m each.

Some of the areas they were bought in include Preston, Birmingham, Epping Forrest, London and Coventry.

There's also a ticket worth £150,000 unclaimed in Bromley.
