Someone hilariously poses as Conor McGregor to review Dustin Poirier's hot sauce

Dustin Poirier pulled off a shock win over Conor McGregor last month, badly hurting the Dubliner's leg in the process.

But prior to the bout the American gifted McGregor with a bottle of his Poirier’s Lousiana Style Hot Sauce.

And now someone has taken the time to pose as McGregor and write a funny review online.

It reads: "Kicks your leg and knocks you out.

“You know what they say: styles make sauces. It’s not that I don’t have the style to handle the heat but this sauce took out me leg.

"Fair play to Dustin. He’s a great sauce maker. It hit me right in the muscle.

"There wasn’t a mark on me face but me leg was gone.

"Hats off to him for such a great sauce."

Meanwhile, McGregor has revealed the extent of the damage caused to his shins by Poirier.

The Notorious required the use of a crutch in the immediate aftermath of the fight, and told reporters: "My leg is completely dead, and even though I felt like I was checking them [Poirier's leg kicks], it was just sinking into the muscle at the front of my leg.

"My leg was compromised, and I didn't adjust and that's it. Fair play to Dustin."

After two weeks of recovery, McGregor took to Instagram on Thursday to share pictures of his heavily swollen shin.
