Someone had construction workers take down a Cowboys flag at Redskins training camp

If you’ve ever attended a Dallas Cowboys away game, it becomes immediately apparent that they have fans everywhere. That would include Richmond, Va.

As the Washington Redskins were getting started with Wednesday’s training camp at the Bon Secours Washington Redskins Training Camp Center, media members quickly noticed that a nearby construction site was displaying a Dallas Cowboys flag.

Eventually, word got out to either the Redskins or someone at the construction site because the flag was taken down.

We don’t know who gave the command to remove the flag, but I wouldn’t put that pettiness past the Washington Redskins. It would be awfully on brand for them.

As for the construction workers, that kind of trolling should be commended. They knew they were working in view of Redskins camp and strategically displayed a Cowboys flag for everyone to see. That’s excellent work.

You have to respect that kind of commitment to a rivalry and let the flag stay up.
