Dolphins quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick has been well known around the NFL for his rather — what’s the best word? — ambitious beard. The man known has Fitzmagic has also been referred to in the past as the “Amish Rifle” in acknowledgement of his rather well developed facial hair.
But the legend of Fitzpatrick’s beard has officially reached new heights. One Miami fan put his graphic design skills to use — flipping Fitzpatrick’s hair and beard in one fell swoop. And the results are amazing:
…he looks exactly the same! Sure, maybe his bangs have a little bit more lift to them once his beard is atop his head. Perhaps his beard is a little more well shaped on the right, too. But all in all, if you saw the man on the right walking down the street — and be honest — would you even think twice?
If this doesn’t extend the legend of Ryan Fitzpatrick’s beard, I don’t know what will. Between this and Fitzpatrick’s amazing no-look in practice last week as the Dolphins wrapped up voluntary mini-camp, it’s been a heck of a start to June for the veteran quarterback.
The only question left to answer? If Fitzpatrick can stave off Josh Rosen for the team’s starting quarterback position.
