Somebody please get Noah Fant a Popeyes chicken sandwich

Coming off a big performance against the Browns last week, Broncos tight end Noah Fant apparently decided to treat himself at Popeyes, hoping to purchase one of the fast-food chain’s viral chicken sandwiches.

Unfortunately, after waiting in line at the drive-through on Tuesday, Fant got to the front of the line only to learn that the store was only accepting cash.

Fant didn’t post any more updates on #CashGate so we’re not sure if he went to a different Popeyes location or opted to pass on the chicken sandwich. After his big game on Sunday, the tight end deserves some chicken!

Some fans suggested he should go to Chick-fil-a, a rival of Popeyes.

Other fans pointed out that Broncos fans would be willing to cover him.

In August, former Broncos safety Sua Cravens and outside linebacker Von Miller joined the Chick-fil-a vs. Popeyes debate. Miller concluded that “the hype is definitely REAL” about Popeyes but Cravens disagreed.

Cravens tried the Popeyes sandwich and posted a video of himself going back to Chick-fil-a “where they do chicken sandwiches right.”

Fellow safeties Will Parks and Justin Simmons wanted to find out what all the hype was about but couldn’t find locations that hadn’t sold out.

Let’s hope that Fant is able to find a location that accepts cards so he can discover for himself if the hype is, as Miller put it, REAL.
