Some Palace fans say the same thing about Max Meyer amid Roy Hodgson's team to face Chelsea

The team news is in at Stamford Bridge - and some Crystal Palace fans cannot believe what Roy Hodgson has done with his team selection for the game against Chelsea.

The Palace boss had a fully-fit squad to choose from for the game with Chelsea, with Mamadou Sakho and Connor Wickham both fit again after long-term absences from the matchday squad.

But neither are involved this afternoon, with Hodgson making just one change to his side to face the Blues.

That is Andros Townsend coming into the side to replace Jeffrey Schlupp, who drops to the bench,

But there is no place among the substitutes for Max Meyer or Victor Camarasa, which has left some Crystal Palace fans baffled.

Premier League match preview: Chelsea v Crystal Palace

Camarasa has only featured once for Palace in the Premier League since joining on loan in the summer, while Meyer has played just five times for the Eagles this season.

The German midfielder did come off the bench against Leicester last weekend, but is not involved today.

And some Palace fans are saying the same thing about the midfielder and his future at the club.
