Some of the weird things politicians have been doing on their hangouts

Two months ago everyone thought that Zoom was something you did with your camera.

Now we are all used to seeing loved ones, doing pub quizzes and having work meeting on the through the online conference website.

With social distancing essential politicians are also having to work via video link.

This has led to some, erm, interesting choices of location, clothing and even how they stand.

We took a look at some of the most entertaining.

Stephen Kinnock

Stephen Kinnock (BBC)

As anyone who has to work from home knows, the sweat pants is the king. All you need to do it look presentable from nipples up.

Not so for the Labour MP for Aberavon.

He rocked up at Prime Minister's Questions today dressed like a he was James Bond on an episode of the Apprentice.

Not many people feel the need to wear smart shoes when a camera is only showing their face but not so for Mr Kinnock.

Just look at that amazing wood flooring... (S Kinnock)
The classic i-pad propped up on old trainers (S Kinnock)

He even turned side on when talking like the opening credits to a Bond film.

If this wasn't enough he took his licence to thrill even further by treating his Twitter followers to a side angle shot showing off his chest (Malm, Ikea).

Mark Reckless

Mark Reckless from within a wardrobe (Senedd TV)

During the Welsh Assembly Plenary, the Brexit Parties Mark Reckless held the government to account from what appeared to be a store cupboard.

Sporting a fetching new isolation beard, Mr Reckless had also dressed up smart (though there is no clues as to whether it was a full suite) or just a blazer and joggers combo.

Perhaps if Mr Reckless wanted to tidy up his cluttered cupboard he could ask his fellow party member Caroline Jones if he could borrow some of her many, many files.

Though perhaps Mr Reckless' messy cupboard could simply be down to the amount of parties he has had....

Barry Gardiner

Other MPs seem to be keen on interior design.

At PMQs today Barry Gardiner showed off his bedroom which he had decorated in a homage to designers at the Premier Inn.

Neil McEvoy

One of the biggest challenges facing our elected representatives is with technology.

Neil McEvoy hold up paper say "point of order" (Neil McEvoy)

Neil McEvoy was so desperate to raise a point of order that he held up a sign saying so when he was muted.

You can't help be impressed by the fact he had managed to set up his home printer in such short order. Unless he already had them printed off in advance.
