Some of the best questions you would ask Prime Minister Boris Johnson

Prime Minister Boris Johnson would have his hands full if Nottinghamshire Live readers could interview him.

Readers were on asked on our Facebook page : "What one question would you ask of Boris Johnson?"

And there were a lot of responses.

Nearly 300 comments were left with a range of suggestions made, from schools reopening, wearing face masks and the economy.

Here's a selection of questions you asked that got a lot of responses:

"Have you given a single thought to those who can’t claim any money or continue to work how are they supposed to survive?

"How can you state "schools are safe for children" to go back into education in September when you can't even open pubs and shops without Covid cases rising again?"

"When are you going to scrap the TV licence?"

"How will you help the economy recover given the huge job losses we are seeing?"

"What is he going to do about the lack of nurses pay rise?"

"Why not close the pubs to drinkers and use each pub as a classroom for the poor pupils who are having their futures destroyed by the exams fiasco? They are our future and the ones to help build the economy back."

"Why didn't you sack Dominic Cummings and all your MPs who broke lock down rules?"

"Did you consider people who are hard of hearing or even deaf when you made everyone wear a mask?"

"What are your plans to keep this country afloat and what is the future for our NHS after all the great work all the public services have done for us for months?"
