Some Man City and Juventus fans say the same thing about Pep Guardiola as Sarri exits Chelsea

It is now official that Maurizio Sarri has left Chelsea to join Juventus on a three-year deal.

The Italian has left Chelsea after just one season in charge in west London, having guided the Blues to third place in the Premier League and success in the Europa League, with a 4-1 win against Arsenal in Baku last month to lift the trophy.

The move had been widely reported in recent weeks, and the confirmation came today (Sunday) that the two clubs had reached an agreement for Sarri to leave Chelsea and join Juventus on a three-year deal.

It is a move that has prompted a mixed response from Chelsea fans, with Sarri receiving plenty of criticism from supporters during his time in charge amid his style of play.

But some Juventus and Manchester City fans have been saying the same thing about Pep Guardiola, who was heavily linked as a potential successor to Massimiliano Allegri in Turin.

The Manchester City boss had repeatedly said that he was not going to be moving from the Etihad Stadium this summer, having guided the Citizens to a second Premier League title in a row.

But the confirmation of Sarri's appointment at Juventus has not stopped some City fans - and supporters of Juventus - reacting on social media.

Here's what some fans of those two clubs are saying on social media this afternoon (Sunday).
