Some Liverpool fans mock Chelsea as Jurgen Klopp is named Premier League manager of the month

It has been a superb start to the season for Liverpool and Jurgen Klopp.

The Reds currently sit top of the Premier League with a 100 per cent record, having won all eight games so far, with champions Manchester City currently in second place, eight points behind Liverpool.

And Liverpool boss Klopp has been rewarded for his side's efforts with a second manager of the month award for the 2019/20 season, having added the September award to the one he won in August.

Klopp has been named manager of the month ahead of Chelsea head coach Frank Lampard , Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe and Leicester City's Brendan Rodgers.

Klopp's men won all their matches in September, while Chelsea won two of their three games in September in the league, with a 2-1 defeat against the Reds the only game they failed to win.

Meanwhile, Bournemouth picked up seven points out of a possible nine in September in the league, and Leicester had a similar record to Chelsea, with two wins and one defeat from their three games.

But the announcement of Klopp as the winner of the award has got rival fans talking on social media this afternoon (Friday), with many Liverpool fans - and supporters of other clubs - saying the same thing.

However, some Liverpool fans have been quick to mock their rivals from Chelsea, who have expressed a different view.

Here's what some fans have been saying on Twitter this afternoon.
