It was a month ago to the day that Chicago Bears coach Matt Nagy pulled the struggling Mitchell Trubisky from a Week 3 game against the Atlanta Falcons and sent in Nick Foles, something fans had been clamoring for.
Foles threw three touchdowns and cemented himself as a starter in the comeback win.
Now, after Foles threw two interceptions — and perhaps some shade after comments about Nagy’s play calls made it on to the Monday Night Football broadcast — in a loss to the Los Angeles Rams some fans are flip-flopping.
The theory, I guess, is that if the offensive line is a problem, you might as well have the more mobile quarterback under center. But there are others who acknowledge this is an awful situation no matter who’s in there at QB.
Here’s a sampling of some fans hinting at the former:
So now in 4 starts as a Bear, Nick Foles has put up 3 points in a full game (excluding garbage time TD / defensive TD) two times (2)
Mitch Trubisky (in 3.5 years) put up 3 points in an entire game two times (2)
You can’t tell me this offense looks better with Foles, you can’t

Nick Foles is a right handed statue of a QB. WTF are you rolling him out to his left to give him a one-read play?
Nagy still calling plays like he has Trubisky at QB. This guy can read the field but can't move. Trubisky could move but not read the field. Adjust accordingly.

Just a reminder Mitch Trubisky got benched for basically nothing and Foles has thrown 6tds and 5ints. 3 of those TDs came in garbage time vs the #Falcons.

The only difference between Foles and Trubisky is that Trubisky is atleast a threat in the running game.
This is gross, but Trubisky gives you a better chance to actually be a good offense

I'd rather play Trubisky. He can at least make plays scrambling. Foles can't even role out to buy time and proved today his deep ball is just as inaccurate as Trubisky

Nick Foles had 2 TDs on a sliver platter,over threw one, threw the other out of bounds. Seems to only play well and consistent against Brady. Glad I don’t have choose btw Foles and Trubisky, there is no right answer only a terrible question.
