A Somali TV journalist who was beaten up after being arrested by police last week has been freed without charge. Abdirahman Musse Omar, who works for privately-owned television station SLTV, was detained on the orders of the mayor of Hargeisa, the capital of the breakaway state of Somaliland, after asking him a question about deadly clashes between police and local residents.
