Man Utd chant ‘Ole’s at the Wheel’ is the backing track to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's revolution

New permanent boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has won plaudits across the world of football for reversing the fortunes of a wounded Manchester United side.

The club's revival under their former marksman has seen them eat up the 11-point gap to the Premier League top four, and advance to the quarter-finals of the Champions League.

A 3-1 victory in Paris in March saw United become the first club in Champions League history to lose the first leg at home by two goals and still progress.

Speaking after that victory, defender Luke Shaw said he was "certain" Solskjaer would be kept on at Old Trafford beyond the summer and the club have since handed the Norwegian a three-year deal.

The Manchester United boss said: "This is the job that I always dreamed of doing and I'm beyond excited to have the chance to lead the club long-term and hopefully deliver the continued success that our amazing fans deserve."

And fans have coined the chant 'Ole's at the Wheel' to mark the club's impressive run of form under Solsjkaer...

Ole's at the Wheel

To the tune of Stone Roses' 'Waterfall'

"Ole's at the wheel,

"Tell me how does it feel,

"We’ve got Sanchez, Paul Pogba and Fred,

"Marcus Rashford, a Manc born and bred,

"Du du, du du du du du

"Du du, du du du du du

"The greatest of English football,

"We’ve won it all."
