Solskjaer makes contract admission
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has not started talking to Manchester United over a new contract, despite his current deal expiring in 18 months' time.
Solskjaer signed a three-year contract in March 2019, which is due to run out next summer. Now, speaking to Norwegian outlet VG, the United boss has opened up on the lack of contract talks at the moment.
“I have not thought about that, and we have not discussed it at all," he said. “I am just focusing on doing my job and part of the job is to stabilise things.
“We have a job to do in order to find consistency on the pitch. Outside the pitch it is still a crisis if you lose a game. If you concede a goal in stoppage time against Everton, it still creates big headlines. That can happen in football.
“But on the inside it is more stable. We feel like we are on our way towards what we sat down and discussed, what we planned.
“I know that there has been a lot of criticism and discussions about one thing or another, but if you first set a course, then I at least have so much faith in myself that I do not waver too much.”

United need to repeat Ferguson approach for Henderson
Solskjaer needs to change his approach on the Manchester United goalkeeper situation and repeat what Sir Alex Ferguson did back in 2011, according to Richard Fay.
David de Gea had a tough start to life at United but Ferguson put all of his faith in the Spaniard and things turned out brilliantly for him.
However, there has undoubtedly been a recent decline for De Gea and with Dean Henderson waiting on the sideline, there is a key change Solskjaer could make.
Ferguson put all of his faith in De Gea time and time again despite plenty of criticism and stuck with his No. 1, who was doubted by many - with his young age often coming up in arguments.
Whether or not Henderson gets his chance this season for United, his fellow goalkeeper will need to be replaced in the coming years. It certainly makes sense for Solskjaer to put blind faith in the young England international now and save the club plenty of money in the future.

Morrison admits huge regrets
Former United youngster Ravel Morrison has revealed how he would change '90 per cent' of his footballing career.
Morrison was once regarded as one of United's hottest prospects after starring in the club's FA Youth Cup victory 10 years ago, alongside Paul Pogba and Jesse Lingard.
But the now 28-year-old made just three senior appearances under Ferguson before being sold to West Ham in 2012. Nowadays, Morrison is a free agent after leaving Dutch side ADO Den Haag last month and speaking on the Rio Ferdinand's Vibe with Five podcast, he has opened up on the regrets he has over his career.
"If I could go back in time I would change 90% of my life," Morrison said. "But you have to look forward, you can't think about the past too much."
