Solskjaer explains why Bruno Fernandes frustrates him after Manchester United beat Everton

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer admits he is sometimes frustrated by Bruno Fernandes' positioning in the Manchester United midfield.

The Portuguese stole the show for United at the weekend as they came from behind to win 3-1 away at Everton in the Premier League encounter.

Fernandes netted a first-half brace as United turned the game on its head before setting up Edinson Cavani to secure all three points with his first goal for the club.

It was a huge win for Solskjaer after a difficult week in charge of the club, as United quietened their critics with a thoroughly deserved victory to move up the league table.

January signing Fernandes earned most of the plaudits after the triumph at Goodison Park and Solskjaer explained why there is still more to come from the midfield maestro even after such a stellar showing.

Vote for your man of the match vs Everton

"Great performance, leading the boys," Solskjaer told MUTV of Fernandes' display. "With his desire and determination he is everywhere on the pitch, sometimes that frustrates me. Because sometimes there are passes being played to where he should have been and he is not there.

"But when you've got someone who drives them on like this of course you are very happy."
