A contestant on The Chase today took on Anne Hegerty for a massive £75,000.
Michael, Beth, Nigel and Alison teamed up to try and win as much money as possible.
Things got off to a bad start however when Michael and Beth were knocked out of the head to head by The Governess, after securing £4000 each in the cash builder.
Despite matching Michael and Beth's scores, Nigel appeared to fare better and gambled on the high offer of £44,000.
But it wasn't long before Anne caught him up and eliminated him from the show.
The final contestant remaining was Alison, who wanted to win some money so she could buy a new dog.
It appeared history was repeating itself as Alison won £4000 in the cash builder.
However, she opted for the high offer of £75,000.
And amazingly Alison managed to outrun The Governess, making it to the final with £75k.
In the final Alison scored 13 steps - with Anne admitting she once lost to 12.
But with 49 seconds to go Anne met Alison's score of 13, leaving her empty-handed.
While Anne and Brad applauded Alison for her efforts, viewers at home were equally as complimentary.
Harris tweeted: "Good effort by Alison. Going it alone must have been very daunting."
Jade wrote: "Alison is good!!!!"
And Jay said: "Well done, Alison!!"
