'Solid point' Nottingham Forest fans all say the same thing after Blackburn Rovers stalemate

Nottingham Forest have been held to a 1-1 draw with Blackburn Rovers in their latest clash in the Sky Bet Championship.

After a goalless first half, Rovers opened the scoring through Adam Armstrong shortly after the hour mark.

The home side’s lead lasted only a couple of minutes, as Forest swiftly responded with Joe Lolley netting the equaliser for Sabri Lamouchi’s side.

The point at Ewood Park extends Forest’s unbeaten run to nine matches in the Championship, and leaves them in third place in the league table with 19 points from their opening 10 matches.

Forest fans had plenty to talk about on social media after the full-time whistle, here is a selection of what they had to say.

Zoe: “Things that have pleased me about tonight’s match; we’ve come back from a goal down again, we’ve ground out a point despite not playing well, we’re still unbeaten since West Brom.”

Brian James Govier: “Poor performance never created much going forward. Second best to every ball.”

Stu Burgin: “Excellent point shows the progress of the team would have got beat last season onwards and upwards to sat.”

Gary Morely: “Good point, but they give the ball away far to easily.”

Dave Astbury: “Solid point. Still unbeaten away from home and a great response to going one down. Samba, Worrall and Watson the stand-outs.”

George Richards: “A point away from home is good and we're still third so even better.”

Mark Pinsent: “It's a sign of Forest's progress that a point away feels slightly disappointing! Unbeaten in nine is a bit handy though.”

Con: “4 points from 6 in back to back away games is very good in this league. Genuinely forgot what it feels like to lose.”
