Sold at last to a luxury buyer - Phil Neville's £5.25m Trafford mansion

Phil Neville is believed to have accepted an offer on his plush, multi-million pound mansion.

The former Manchester United and England star put the six-bedroom residence in Hilltop, Hale, on the market earlier this year with an eye-watering £5.25 million price tag.

The detached family home, which Phil shared with wife Julie and their two children, sprawls across four floors with six double bedrooms and six recently installed bath and shower rooms.

The property in the upmarket village is now listed as 'sold subject to terms and conditions' on Rightmove.

It was fully renovated and updated throughout last year and also features an electric car charging station and sweeping driveway leading to an undercroft garage.

You couldn't be mistaken about the identity of the property's owner as there are reminders of Phil's footballing career throughout the home.

The plush pad is adorned with several nods to the ex-footballer’s playing career, including two framed photos in the family room and an array of framed shirts.

This includes those of Phil's former United and 'Class of '92' teammates David Beckham, Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes, Nicky Butt and brother Gary Neville.

Other highlights of the property include a games room, which boasts a table tennis table, pool table, air hockey table and putting machine, a luxury cinema, a private gymnasium and an indoor swimming pool.

And, if you didn't quite have the energy for the stairs in the sprawling home, there's a fully automatic passenger lift to get you to each floor.

The security is also not to be sniffed at as it also comes with CCTV cameras internally and externally and a panic room fitted with steel lined walls and a steel door.

Phil and Julie previously tried to sell the property for £4.5m in 2015 when he moved to be a coach for La Liga side Valencia.

But when it didn't sell Inter Miami head coach Phil, wife Julie and their two children moved back into the property when they returned to the UK.

Meanwhile, Phil's brother Gary's former mansion is up for sale over in Bolton. The ex-Manchester United star turned pundit sold the converted barn home around 18 years ago.

The secluded 35-acre property was built in 1999, the same year Neville claimed the treble with United.
