Sokratis outlines how Arsenal plan to deal with Eden Hazard and Chelsea in Europa League final

Eden Hazard may be a "very good player", but Arsenal defender Sokratis insists that the Gunners are not making any special plans to stop Chelsea's Belgian star in the Europa League final.

The two sides will clash in Baku on Wednesday night, with the Europa League trophy at stake, as well as a potential place in the Champions League for Arsenal .

But while Sokratis insists that the Gunners are aware of the threat posed by Eden Hazard, the Greek defender says that there are other threats in the Chelsea side.

And he says that while Chelsea have players who can hurt Arsenal, the Gunners also have a number of threats in their side as he highlighted what could make the difference in Azerbaijan.

“Hazard? A very good player – but we also have very good players. Of course, we plan for everybody but, they are planning for us," Sokratis said, as quoted by the Mirror .

“We have Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Alexandre Lacazette, Mesut Ozil, they have Gonzalo Higuain, Olivier Giroud. A lot of good players. We won’t be focusing on one player, but on the team because in a final it is the team that wins.

“The other factor is luck. You can shoot five times and score two or three and the other team shoots five times and gets no goals. I hope that this happens.”
