Sokratis and William Saliba will start for Arsenal Under-21s in their EFL Trophy match against AFC Wimbledon at Plough Lane on Tuesday night, football.london understands.
Last month 32-year-old Sokratis made his first appearance for the Gunners since the FA Cup final win over Chelsea in June, as he started in the Premier League 2 match against Everton alongside Calum Chambers, Saliba and Joel Lopez at Emirates Stadium.
football.london reported last month, the former Borussia Dortmund defender chose to play in the match as he looks to increase his match sharpness ahead of a potential January move.
EFL Trophy rules stat that teams are allowed no more than two players who are aged 21 or over which means that Arsenal could field another senior first team player in their starting XI.
Meanwhile, Saliba was signed for £28million from Saint Etienne last year and spent the 2019/20 season on loan at the French club before returning to Arsenal this summer.
The 19-year-old has yet to make his senior debut and is expected to go out on loan in January as Gunners manager Mikel Arteta admitted that he is in a 'transition year' and not ready to play yet.
Other players set to feature in the round of 32 match include Kido Taylor-Hart, the exciting winger who has made waves in the academy this season, while Ben Cottrell, Joel Lopez and many of the players who started against Everton last month are also in the squad.
The game kicks off at 6pm but it will be played behind-closed-doors with the hosts not ready to admit fans inside the ground until next month.
