Turnkey Group appoints commercial director in £1.5m expansion plans

Specialist software business Turnkey Group has appointed a new commercial director as part of £1.5 million expansion plans.

Deborah Baxter, who joins the East Kilbride-based business from Big Four accountant KPMG, will focus on Turnkey's insolvency software IPS.

Baxter, who was working on a digital transformation agenda across all aspects of KPMG's Restructuring practice, brings 20 years of experience to the role.

Her arrival follows the appointment a year ago of Kenny Doole as commercial director for Turnkey Business Software.

The firm's business software offers financial and enterprise resource planning software.

Turnkey managing director Tony Wood said: “We are delighted to have both Deborah and Kenny join the leadership of our business as we embark on a significant transformation of both our insolvency software business and SME software business.

“Both bring a wealth of skills and experience in dealing with customers in their respective sectors and plan to drive significant change as we expand and develop our services and products.

“As a business we are investing in our product suite, increasing staff and extending and enhancing our office premises to accommodate our exciting business growth plans.”

Baxter said: “The opportunity to drive a wider digital agenda into the insolvency market is really exciting, particularly helping our customers understand how they can embrace this new platform and all that comes with it.”
