Sofia Richie's Glossier Futuredew routine proves that multi-purpose makeup and skincare are the best way to achieve that coveted, natural and minimal look for summer.

While we already plan to snag Sofia Richie's signature 'Cali-girl' perfume for our next vacay, the quiet-luxury queen just let slip the one secret behind her lit-from-within, summery glow—and we officially need it in our own beauty arsenal.

Proving once again her love of all things 'gentle makeup', Sofia took to TikTok to share her vacation beauty routine and revealed that she uses Glossier's Futuredew for a lightweight makeup look.

Futuredew is described as 'an oil-serum hybrid' that supposedly acts as a 'shortcut' to achieving that radiant, nourished gleam you get after completing your full skincare routine. It's infused with jojoba, grape seed, evening primrose, rosehip oils and squalane which works to deliver serious hydrating to your skin, for a brighter and ethereal glow that lasts for 'up to 12 hours.' Sounding good so far...

How Sofia Richie incorporates Futuredew into her skincare routine

In her video, Sofia used it as the last step of her skincare routine, before applying her foundation, though she revealed that with the glow it gave her skin, she could happily wear it on its own.

After applying her Hourglass foundation (available at Sephora) with a beauty blender, Sofia then went in with her classic bronzer and blush combo, before returning to Futuredew once more, to use as a highlighter.

Pumping a few drops onto her finger, she gently swiped the serum onto her cheek and brow bone.

The end result left her with a very dewy finish that she described as 'giving skin'—which is exactly what we want for hot summer days, especially if you don't want to deal with any foundation piling.

MIL's fave skincare and makeup hybrids

If you already own Glossier's Futuredew or found it wasn't for you, there are a few other cult-favorite products you could try—especially in the SPF department.

Futuredew doesn't contain any SPF, so if you want this gleaming vibe with just one product that offers both sun protection and radiant skin, the Supergoop Glowscreen is a must. It's slightly tinted, to give that summery, glass-like glow.

If you've already got your face sunscreen sorted though and are instead, looking for more skincare/makeup hybrids, products like Glow Recipe's Niacinamide drops (available at Sephora), Charlotte Tilbury's Hollywood Flawless Filter (available at Sephora) and TikTok's fave Drunk Elephant D'Bronzi (available at Sephora) drops are all also great options—for that light-weight makeup look.
