The model, 21, was reported to be "hurt" over rumours her ex Scott Disick, 37, had rekindled his romance with the mother of his children Kourtney Kardashian.
Lionel Richie's daughter posted a gloomy message on her Instagram stories on Thursday following the swirling rumours.
Her latest Instagram post captured the "June gloom" in a single snapshot.
Taken from her bed, the photograph captured her plumped up cushions and bed spread laid out in front of a huge window.
Outside the window, the skies were overcast with grey and fog casting their spell over the rich green forestry.
She typed across the snap: "Morning June gloom."
Sofia and Scott have broken up a few times over the three years but this time it appeared the couple wouldn't be getting back together.
It comes hours after Sofia was said to be "hurt" by rumours Scott Disick and Kourtney will reunite.
Fresh from the split, it's reported the newly single star has still been "processing the break-up" in recent weeks.
Sofia and Scott were in a "serious relationship" for three years, just two years after his split from on/off lover Kourtney.
Increasingly, Scott has been spending more time with his ex Kourtney and their three children: Mason, 10, Penelope, seven, and five-year-old Reign.
Tongues have been wagging the famous exes could be on track for a reunion, which insiders claimed left Lionel Richie's daughter feeling "hurt".
An insider told PEOPLE : "It was a serious relationship, not some fling, and she was there for Scott through some tough times.
"It hurts to see all the speculation about Scott and Kourtney, but she is so young and gets so much attention. She'll be totally fine."

The couple were inseparable during their three-year romance and often they jetted off mini-breaks together.
Sofia and Scott split shortly after he wrapped up his brief rehab stay in late April at a Colorado facility.

Their flirty Instagram exchanges have been driving fans wild with hope they will reunite.
Scott and Kourtney have maintained an incredibly close bond while raising their kids after they dated from 2006 until 2015.
In recent months, Sofia opened up about her true feelings over mingling with her then-boyfriend's ex Kourtney.
Only then the model had nothing but kind words to say.
She told Cosmopolitan : “I mean, just be nice. There’s no reason not to be nice.”
