SoFi enters the sponsorship game in southern California

The Los Angeles Rams and Chargers stadium will be one of the best stadiums in the NFL when it’s completed. The new outdoor stadium that is covered with host the Rams, Chargers, a Super Bowl, and probably NCAA games — both basketball and football — concerts and many other events. The exposure is a sponsor’s dream. Now we know who the sponsor will be as SoFi has come to a deal to be the naming rights partner of the new stadium in SoCal. 

There’s always an argument if naming rights are worth it, but it’s some pretty good marketing. The name is mentioned on television constantly. Branding and signage are shown whenever a game is played there. Tens of thousands of people interact with the stadium and will associate the brand with the team. It will also help if the Rams and Chargers continue on their upward trajectories. We haven’t even talked about this:

So this should be a good deal for SoFi, no matter what the price tag lands at.
