A furniture concession in Cabot Circus House of Fraser is to expand across the second floor of the store.

Sofa.com, which sells beds, armchairs and sofas, will be taking up 6,000sqft of space in the department store - 3,000sqft more than before.

The retailer is launching the new-look space on June 28 - and will be offering shoppers Prosecco when they go to look around.

Sofa.com is also running a competition to win an armchair worth up to £950.

Richard Holmes, chief executive for sofa.com, said: “Bristol is a really exciting next step in the sofa.com journey and we are delighted to be building on the success of the existing House of Fraser stores.”

Ruth Newman, buying and merchandising director for beauty and home at House of Fraser added: “We are delighted to expand made-to-order sofa specialists sofa.com at House of Fraser Cabot Circus.

“We think customers will fall in love with the carefully selected pieces on offer, all with the latest interiors advice available to those who visit us in store.”
