On my radar ...
• Britain is in the dark about the estimated 100,000 children who run away in the UK every year and end up on our streets. Most people (68%) are unaware about this issue in the UK, solely associating "street children" with the developing world.
In the runup to the International Day for Street Children on 12 April governments and society are being called upon to sign a pledge to stand up for the rights of street children at streetchildrenday.org. This public support will be shared at a UN meeting in June.
