How valued do the UK’s social workers feel? What are their job satisfaction levels, and can they achieve a good work-life balance?

To better understand the issues affecting social workers and their managers, the Guardian, in partnership with the British Association of Social Workers, has launched its latest Social Lives survey.

Whatever stage you’re at in your career – whether a student or a head of department – we want to hear how you feel about the profession, its public standing and the opportunities it offers.

Share your thoughts; take the survey here and be part of the research. The short survey takes no more than 10 minutes to complete.

The findings will be compared with previous surveys in the series and will be published in 2017.
