Social media saying same thing about Johnny Sexton after inspiring Ireland to World Cup quarter-finals

Ireland's did what they needed to do and bagged a bonus point win over Samoa today to guarantee themselves a place in the World Cup quarter-finals.

Joe Schmidt's side had already ran in four tries by half-time with the only blemish a red card for Bundee Aki for a high tackle that could spell the end of his tournament

There were plenty of positive for Ireland though, not least Jordan Larmour who terrorised the Samoans every time he got the ball, while CJ Stander got a late try his huge amount of work deserved.

But for many fans on social media the presence of Johnny Sexton is paramount to the Irish cause with the Leinster outhalf running in two tries of his own today.

The veteran was taken off early in the second half with Joey Carbery replacing him and social media was full of talk of cotton wool - the two words that always seem to follow Sexton around:
