Social media reacts to the first-half of the All-Ireland hurling final between Kilkenny and Tipperary and that red card

Kilkenny and Tipperary are currently battling it out in the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship final.

The Premier County lead by a single at the break, with the score 1-9 to 0-11 in their favour.

Kilkenny dominated the early stages until Niall O'Meara found the back of the net on the 25th minute.

Shortly afterwards Jason Forde put them ahead for the first time in the game before TJ Reid drew the sides level again.

Kilkenny then back ahead through John Donnelly, but Seamus Kennedy didn't take long to level things up.

One of the key moments of the half came on 33 minutes when Richie Hogan was shown a red card for an apparent high challenge.

TJ Reid levelled matters again on 35 minutes with a free before Noel McGrath put Tipp back ahead.
