Fans relived their favourite moments from the 40 year history of the iconic RTE GAA show 'The Sunday Game' tonight.
The documentary aired on RTE 1 at 9.35, and supporters from around the country took to social media to discuss the best moments.
Irish influencer Rory's Stories said: "Class program on the history of the Sunday game. Makes ya very proud of our sport.
"NOTHING like the GAA."
This sentiment was echoed by one user, who said: "Interesting insight into the history of the The Sunday Game, how it has adopted over the years & what it means to Irish people's culture & heritage.
"You can't beat GAA."
Another fan added "Wow. Out of nowhere somebody got the idea of making this documentary about the Sunday Game.
"What a cracker! Fair play to RTE for quality programming."
One moment that caused uproar was the time RTE decided, for a brief moment, to change the theme song for the show.
And a number of fans picked up on this, with one saying: "Changing the intro music to the Sunday Game that time was indeed a mortal sin!
Another added: "Enjoying the Sunday Game documentary and the great insights into the making of both live shows
