Social media reacts to Roy Keane's comments on 'disgraceful' Manchester United players

Roy Keane didn't hold back as he tore into Manchester United's players on Thursday night.

The Old Trafford great was on punditry duty for ITV's coverage of England's 3-0 win over Wales at Wembley.

Speaking ahead of the game on United's 6-1 loss to Spurs, Keane said: “I've been saying it for the last 12 months, year and a half, their performance against Spurs was disgraceful.

"You all have bad days in football. Some of the players were a disgrace to the Man United badge.

"Too many bluffers and ultimately, these players will cost Ole his job. The players he has got there - they threw the previous manager under the bus. They will do the same to Ole.”

A number of people agreed with Keane's comments, with one United fan saying: "Roy Keane was spot on last night, These players will get Ole Gunnar Solskjaer the sack."

Another said: "Agree with Roy Keane's statement. Be a professional and play for the money you're getting paid for. Reading some reactions from fans that Keane is too critical - Disagree."

Someone else tweeted: "We will bounce back, we can even perform better than last season.

"The only thing we all need to see is passion and some f***ing commitment from our players on the pitch, thats it.

"We've got plenty of talent now. Roy Keane attitude is what we need!!"

Another Twitter user commented: "Roy Keane talking facts as a Pundit only true Pundit talks facts 100%.

"The club didn’t give OGS the players he wanted before the transfer deadline it was a last minute transfer being nervous who to sign."

One supporter added: "Beginning of the end. Just like with Jose as Roy Keane said, they'll throw him under the bus."

Someone else posted: "Sadly, Ole and the board have made it easy to disrespect the club which is sad. Team needs a Roy Keane."
