Ireland crashed out of Saturday's Eurovision 2019 final as they failed to wow during the second semi-final yesterday evening.
Sarah McTernan, 25, had hoped to impress viewers and turn around our disappointing recent record in the competition.
However Ireland, who last won the contest with Eimear Quinn in 1996, once again crashed out after not receiving enough votes.

Meanwhile the Netherlands' Duncan Laurence, who is also favourite to win the competition, made it through alongside Sweden's John Lundvik and Russia's Sergey Lazarev.
However the contest provoked a big reaction on social media in Ireland, after the latest in a long line of poor performances.
One viewer agreed with Louis Walsh's claim earlier this week that Dancing with the Stars runner-up Cliona Hagan should have been Ireland's entrant.
While another fan suggested that pop duo Jedward, who previously represented the country at the event in 2012, should make their return, saying: "Jedward are what Eurovision needs"
