Pregnant Aoibhin Garrihy has her ensemble ready ahead of her sister Ailbhe tying the knot next weekend.
While there was some uncertainty over her outfit given her growing baby bump, Aoibhin decided to go for the same as the other bridesmaids – her sister Doireann and Ailbhe’s best friend Serena – by going up a couple of sizes.
She told The Social Media: “We are all sorted now that we are on the final stretch.
“I don’t know if I will be doing it justice now, you will have to look to Doireann and Serena.
“I think I will just be waddling up the aisle. But we will enjoy the day anyway.”
Quizzed on what exactly she will be wearing for the wedding, which will take place in Clare, Aoibhin added: “We are all wearing the same thing, we managed to find something that is versatile.
“It may not be a dress, but I can’t reveal too much.”
Chatting at the launch of Avonmore Fresh Milk’s new Farmfulness campaign, she said her 15-month-old daughter Hanorah will also play a big part in the ceremony.
She added: “Hanorah is walking and running and it is perfect timing because she will be walking up the aisle for Ailbhe’s wedding, which we are very excited about.”
Ailbhe has had a busy month of it with three weddings in a row as her friends tied the knot.
This came after her fun-filled hen party and despite expecting baby number two, Aoibhin stayed until the end.
She said: “I was there until the bitter end, cleaning up the place.
“It was the best weekend and Ailbhe’s wedding will be amazing if that is anything to go by. She has the best group of friends and we were all crying, it was so emotional.
“I was wrecked because I was doing everything as the organiser extraordinaire.
“I was making sure everyone was on time and enjoying themselves.”
