Oct. 20--Myspace co-creator Chris DeWolfe has bought a house in the Beverly Hills area for $5.5 million, according to the Multiple Listing Service.
The seller of the estate, which was once the home of the late television and Broadway producer Michael Filerman, was "Million Dollar Listing" mainstay Josh Flagg. The Rodeo Realty agent bought the 1953 Traditional-style home in April and had planned a two-year down-to-the-studs renovation and expansion.
Set on 1.33 acres on a cul-de-sac, the 4,748-square-foot house has a 12- to 15-car motor court at its entrance. A high-ceiling living room, a family room with a bay window, a formal dining room, four bedrooms and five bathrooms are among the interior spaces.
French doors open to a patio with a swimming pool and spa.
DeWolfe, a former Myspace chief executive, now heads Social Gaming Network.
Filerman, who died last year at 75, is known for his work on "Dallas," "Knots Landing" and "Falcon Crest." He won Tonys for "The Gershwins' Porgy and Bess" and "The Norman Conquests."
Flagg handled the transaction, records show.
