Summary
Ten Green Bottles Powys CIC is a research and development company working with the local community, as it attempts to find new and interesting ways to recycle glass.
Ten Green Bottles creates gifts from waste glass to reduce the amount of waste going into landfills and inspires people to recycle more of their waste goods, thereby securing a greener future for everyone.
As well as working for the benefit of the environment it also aims to help those who have been excluded from the workplace, for example, people with mental health issues, learning difficulties and the long term unemployed. It does this by providing work placements and volunteering opportunities and allowing them to get first hand experience of work in a healthy, supportive environment.
Ten Green Bottles also provides OCN (open college network) accredited training in stained glass for people of all ages.
