Soccer stars pay tribute to late legend Diego Maradona

The world is mourning the loss of a sporting icon on Wednesday. Argentinean soccer superstar Diego Maradona, generally regarded as one of the greatest to ever play the game, has died at the age of 60 after suffering a heart attack. Maradona had struggled with addiction and substance abuse, and earlier this month underwent brain surgery for a subdural hematoma.

Argentina will observe three days of national mourning for Maradona, who delivered a World Cup victory in 1986. Around the world, soccer players, athletes and fans are paying tribute to Maradona on social media, and remembering one of the most influential and inspirational players ever.
