From weddings, to possible murders and secrets finally exposed, there's said to be a mix of joy and drama this time around. Here is what could happen this Christmas across all three soaps...

Soap fans have got plenty to look forward to, for Christmas in EastEnders, Emmerdale and Coronation Street (ITV)

Corrie wedding and killer 'strikes'

Tyrone Dobbs is planning a Christmas Day wedding to his long term partner Fiz Brown. But the garage boss' plans could be scuppered when Fiz vanishes without a trace.

"Tyrone manages to keep it such a secret furious Fiz thinks he has made no Christmas plans," the source told the Sun.

"She sets off on Christmas Day to try and get stuff for dinner but her car breaks down and she has no phone signal.

Elsewhere, fans are convinced killer Stephen Reid could murder another resident (ITV)

"Meanwhile, back in Weatherfield, everyone is ready for the wedding. The big question is, ‘Will they, won’t they?'"

The episode will also see Daniel Osbourne propose to barmaid Daisy Midgeley.

Elsewhere, fans are convinced killer Stephen Reid could murder another resident over Christmas, as his lies come under threat.

Recent scenes have shown a few characters possibly getting on the wrong side of him, with fans predicting who is on his kill list.

Emmerdale bombshells cause fireworks?

Chas has managed to keep her affair with recently murdered Al a secret from Paddy (ITV)

Chas has managed to keep her affair with recently murdered Al a secret - while a handful of people know the truth.

Viewers think a clue has now revealed Christmas Day will be the moment Chas' husband Paddy finds out the truth.

A recent episode saw Chas receive her mother Faith Dingle's ashes, which she wants to be launched into the sky as a firework. Chas said her mother's ashes would be part of a touching firework display on Christmas Day.

Emmerdale bosses then posted picture of Faith's urn and captioned it: "All ready to be lit up on Christmas Day. Make sure you're watching!"

Mack Boyd continues to hide his fling with Chloe Harris (ITV)

Sharing their suspicions, one viewer predicted: “Christmas Day. Fireworks literally in the pub. Does Paddy serve divorce papers?”

A second added: “I'm getting ready for fireworks when Moira and Kerry find out the real truth about Al and Chas.”

But someone else's secret could explode on Christmas Day, as Mack Boyd continues to hide his fling with Chloe Harris from partner Charity Dingle.

With him soon to find out Chloe is pregnant with his child, could it all come out in explosive Christmas Day scenes?

EastEnders 'for more than one death'

Mick actor Danny Dyer recently spoke of his exit hopes (ITV)

Mick actor Danny Dyer recently spoke of his exit hopes, with him in talks over the summer with bosses to have his character die.

Now, new pictures of the cast filming on location have teased he could be killed off.

Nothing is known about what happens, amid his romance with Janine Butcher - and his clear feelings for estranged wife Linda Carter.

The three characters are all involved in big scenes it seems, while Mick was pictured appearing to jump off of a cliff for the upcoming episodes - with Janine and rival Linda thought to crash into the sea.

No details have been confirmed, but fans are fearing this Christmas will see Mick lose his life as he leaves for good.

Will Lola Pearce also die over Christmas as predicted by fans? (BBC/Jack Barnes/Kieron McCarron)

So could Mick and Janine be killed off in a huge twist? Will Lola Pearce also die over Christmas as predicted by fans?

She recently learned the devastating news that she has a brain tumour, with doctors soon confirming her condition was terminal.

Her young daughter Lexi is yet to learn that her mother's illness will kill her, while the soap has not given any details on when Lola will die.

Viewers are fearing it will be before 2023, and that Lola could tragically pass away in Christmas Day.
